Teatro Cortesi of Sirolo (AN) – Restoration and consolidation works
Brief historical notes. As soon as you arrive in Sirolo, before entering from the town’s front door, you cannot avoid being fascinated by the beautiful nineteenth-century theater in splendid white stone of Monte Conero. The peculiarity of the Cortesi Theater is that the structure is entirely incorporated in the city wall system. The internal hall of the theatre has the classic horseshoe shape and is embellished with a gallery of Doric columns, with two tiers of balconies, for a total of 220 seats.
